It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Ateneum Art Museum, Finnish National Gallery. Situated in the city center, the museum, which was opened in 1888 shows extensive exhibitions of Finnish and international art. The collection contains highlights of Finnish art from the Golden age (1880-1910) as well as Scandinavian, European and Russian art. The collection includes Japanese woodcut prints by Kunisada, Hiroshige and Harunobu.

- The bookshop offers a variety of delightful art-themed products that also make ideal gifts. The Tablo Ateneum restaurant serves delicious classic dishes and tempting pastries.
The bookshop and restaurant are located on the ground floor and have the same opening hours as the museum. - ■Cloakroom
- The cloakroom located on the ground floor is self-service. Lockers are also available. The biggest size of bag permitted in the exhibition halls is 10 x 20 x 30 cm.
- ■Toilets and childcare room
- The toilets and childcare room are located on the ground floor next to the cloakroom. There is also a toilet in the foyer of the Ateneum Hall (1.5 floor).
